Interior Design Tips
Always consider the fabric when choosing your drape heading i.e. a patterned fabric may look better with Wave Headings, Bi Pleats, or Gathers. By adding Inverted Pleats to plain fabrics, this gives that tailored look.
Add that extra WOW to your drapes by sewing in the linings (this gives a luxurious feel for a more tailored finish).
Installing tracks/rods above window frames cuts out more outside light in addition to giving more insulation especially in older houses that may have wooden frames.
To protect your drapes, voiles etc from loosing their shape on leading edge, choose wands or cord controlled track.
The only way to protect your drapes from the elements is to back them with blockout lining.
With custom-made drapes, there are several heading styles available including Pencil Pleat, Single Pleat, Inverted Pleat, Triple Pleat, Double Pleat, Box Pleat, Eyelet and Wave Headings. You’ll get our expert advice on the best heading style to suit your fabric, room setting and the look you want to achieve.
